Position Summary

The Customer Experience Associate will primarily be responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with SunShare subscribers by responding to inquiries, documenting actions and following through on any subscription account changes, making outbound phone calls, and having a full understanding of and ability to explain SunShare Community Solar and the community solar utility programs. You will also be responsible for updating our subscriber’s accounts with relevant information, assisting in data governance and data entry, assisting with billing and collections, and managing quality assurance of subscriber’s documentation and subscription on-boarding.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Possess working knowledge of all program and consumer compliance documents.
  • Manage inbound and outbound subscriber inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Identify subscriber’s needs, clarify information, and research and provide solutions to subscriber inquiries.
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage subscribers by taking the extra mile.
  • Record all interactions in CRM database in a comprehensible manner.
  • Perform quality assurance on all incoming accounts and move accounts through the utility program validation process.
  • Identify recurring issues or bottlenecks in subscriber on-boarding.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to achieve common goals.
  • Identify any areas for improvement within: current processes, communications, industry

Specific Requirements and Experience

  • 1-2 years of customer service or administrative experience
  • Ability to report and infer meaning from data sets and troubleshoot issues
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM strongly preferred
  • Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to prioritize and find creative solutions
  • Technical proficiency with phone routing, MS Office, and other basic administrative tools
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Ability to maintain positive attitude, work autonomously and take initiative
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.

Position Summary:

The project accountant position is accountable for monitoring the progress of projects, investigating variances, approving expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued to customers and payments collected.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day to day project accounting functions including; project tracking, cost capitalization, GL account coding, budgeting / analysis and technical accounting research.
  • Performs journal entries & GL account reconciliations related to project accounts.
  • Functions as the liaison between the accounting, project finance and project development teams.
  • Performs financial modeling.
  • Implements / maintains ERP system project module.
  • Responsible for project and general month end close activities.
  • Assists with financial reporting.
  • Participates in year-end audit activities.
  • Performs project impairment analysis.
  • Prepares capitalized labor / interest calculations.

Specific Requirements and Experience

  • 7+ years project accounting experience - required
  • 4-year accounting degree - required
  • Advanced MS Excel - required
  • Self-starter with ability to work in fast paced / dynamic environment
  • Ability to carry out assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Strong work ethic
  • Solar industry experience – preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems
  • Medium / large company experience preferred
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
