SunShare Electric Cooperative Solar Pilot
A simple, open-book solution to self-generation
About the Pilot
SunShare will combine the existing Cooperative interest in the 5% self-generation and community solar allocations and target a combined 50 MWs of solar self-generation. This target will achieve economies of scale using a standardized Power Purchase Agreement and comprehensive development services. Through an open-book model, where participants have visibility into development costs, SunShare will provide transparency into cost-savings while keeping with the cooperative spirit. If you, or your neighbor Cooperative, are interested in becoming a Pilot Program participant and want a local solar project in your service area, please complete this short Initial Interest Survey.
How It Works
All Electric Cooperatives who are Members of Tri-State Generation and Transmission were sent a Pilot Launch Packet including a Pilot Program Summary, Timeline, and Key Milestone Overview.

We will be hosting a Q&A Zoom information session for all interested parties in the SunShare Electric Cooperative Pilot Program on October 7, 2021 at 2:00 MDT.
